"One day I will return the favor and help you."
"언젠가 나는 은혜를 갚고 너를 도와주겠다."

One sunny morning, Zebra visited the river to get a cool drink. As he dipped his mouth into the water, he heard a tiny voice coming from nearby. "Help me, Zebra!" cried Wasp. "I'm caught in a spider web."
화창한 어느 날 아침, 얼룩말은 시원한 음료를 마시기 위해 강을 찾았습니다. 물에 입을 담그자 근처에서 작은 목소리가 들려왔다. "도와주세요, 얼룩말!" 말벌이 소리쳤다. "거미줄에 걸렸어요."

Zebra flicked his ears and peered into a thornbush.
He spied Wasp tangled in a web of silver thread.
Carefully, Zebra reached into the branches to free her. But the thorns jabbed his lips.
얼룩말은 귀를 휙휙 돌리며 가시덤불을 들여다보았습니다.
그는 은빛 실에 얽힌 말벌을 발견했습니다.
조심스럽게 얼룩말은 그녀를 구출하기 위해서 나뭇가지 안에 들어갔습니다. 그러나 가시가 그의 입술을 찔렀다.

"Why would I need help from a little wasp?" said Zebra.
"왜 작은 말벌의 도움이 필요할까요?" 얼룩말이 말했다.

"Ouch!" wailed Zebra. He jerked his head back. "If I save you, I'll hurt myself.”
"아야!" 얼룩말이 울부짖었다. 그는 고개를 뒤로 젖혔다. "내가 당신을 구하면 나 자신이 다칠 것입니다."

"Please help me," said Wasp. "One day I will return the favor and help you."
"도와주세요." 말벌이 말했습니다. "언젠가 내가 은혜를 갚고 당신을 도와줄게요."

Zebra laughed. "I'm fast and strong. No spider can trap me in its web! Besides, I have a whole herd of friends. Why would I need help from a little wasp?"
얼룩말은 웃었다. "나는 빠르고 강해요. 어떤 거미도 나를 거미줄에 가둘 수 없어요! 게다가 떼로 함께 다니는 친구들도 있어요. 내가 왜 작은 말벌의 도움이 왜 필요하겠어요?"

"Please try one more time," Wasp said.
"한 번 더 시도해봐 주세요." 말벌이 말했습니다.

Zebra stared at the little insect. She was struggling to beat her wings. With a sigh, Zebra poked his head into the bush again and knocked at the web. Luckily, it was enough to free Wasp. She tumbled to the ground.
얼룩말은 작은 곤충을 쳐다보았습니다. 그녀는 날개를 치려고 애쓰고 있었습니다. 한숨을 쉬며 얼룩말은 다시 수풀 속으로 머리를 내밀고 거미줄을 두드렸다. 운 좋게도 말벌을 구출하기에 충분했습니다. 그녀는 땅에 떨어졌습니다.

Wasp spied Lion hiding quietly in the leaves.
말벌은 나뭇잎 사이에 조용히 숨어 있는 사자를 알아챘습니다.

"Thank you, thank you!" Wasp cried.
"고마워요, 고마워요!" 말벌이 울었다.

"Try to stay out of trouble," Zebra said to Wasp.
"I might not be nearby the next time a spider gets hungry." Then Zebra turned around and galloped back to his herd.
"문제가 발생하지 않도록 노력하세요." 얼룩말이 말벌에게 말했습니다.
"거미가 배가 고픈 다음번 시간에는 내가 근처에 없을수도 있습니다. 그런 다음 얼룩말은 돌아서서 자신의 무리를 향해 질주했습니다.

All day, the herd wandered across the plain. They quietly munched on grass. Zebra stayed with his herd until he noticed some berries. Licking his lips, Zebra went to taste the berries.
하루 종일 무리가 평원을 헤매었습니다. 그들은 조용히 풀을 뜯어 먹었다. 얼룩말은 열매를 발견할 때까지 무리와 함께 있었습니다. 입술을 핥으며 얼룩말은 열매를 맛보러 나갔습니다.

Wasp was resting in the bushes when she saw Zebra walking in her direction. She also spied Lion hiding quietly in the leaves. If Zebra got too close to Lion, Lion would catch him!

“Roooooaaar!”
“루아아아아아!”

Thinking quickly, Wasp zoomed down and stung Lion.
재빨리 생각한 말벌은 아래로 내려와 사자를 쏘았습니다.

The surprised lion howled. "Roooooaaar!"
놀란 사자가 울부짖었다. "루아아아아아!"

Zebra heard the loud cry. In a flash, he whirled around and galloped back to his herd.
얼룩말은 큰 비명을 들었습니다. 즉시, 그는 주위를 빙빙 돌며 그의 무리로 질주했습니다.

A moment later, Wasp buzzed around Zebra's head. "Try to stay out of trouble," Wasp said with a chuckle. "I might not be nearby the next time a lion gets hungry."
잠시 후 말벌이 얼룩말의 머리 주위에서 윙윙거렸습니다. "문제가 발생하지 않도록 노력하세요." 말벌이 웃으며 말했습니다. "다음번에 사자가 배고플 때 나는 근처에 없을 수도 있습니다."
